FAQ - Starlight Headliner Kit

How does a Starlight Headliner Kit work?

The Starlight Headliner use the diameter from 0.75mm to 1.5mm PMMA fiber optic cables to transmit the WHITE light or RGBW light from an LED fiber optic illuminator hidden in the vehicle. These fiber optic starlights are inserted into the top of the vehicle's headliner to create the starry sky effect in the Car, Truck, SUV's cabin.

How to installed the Starlight Headliner Kit?

The process starts by disconnecting all dome, map lights and other trim pieces and removing the vehicle's headliner.

Hundreds of small holes then need to be drilled or pinned in the top of the headliner mold, to fit the PMMA fiber optic cables, which are individually carefully placed just above the roof fabric.

These PMMA fiber cables are then attached by adhesive, and then strand together to be run to the location of the LED fiber optic iluminator, typically in the trunk, rear seats, or under the vehicle's dash.

The process can take many hours, depending on the quantity of fiber optic strands you're installing. For more details, please Click Here.
